Renk Seed has never been a guy, a pickup truck and a shed. Renk’s farming ties go back to 1848, through more than 5 major wars and the whole agricultural revolution. Renk’s hybrid corn seed business goes back to the first days of its discovery and development in the 1920’s. We have not stood still since; actively embracing and leading the change in both the seed business and farming.

Our guiding principle has been to deliver the best seed, genetics, technologies and quality to your farm so you can continue to be successful. We spend a lot of time developing, evaluating and sorting genetics and technologies in order to offer the best products on the market. There is no parent company to drive us to promote their favored technology over another. To make our lineup, a product has to have the right performance-to-price ratio and it has to be able to do the job for you. 

One place we have not changed our organization drastically is in our dealer network, which still consists mainly of farmer dealers or independent coops. We have always valued the close personal relationships in our business and we want our customers to have the same relationships with their dealers. The fact that our dealers not only sell our seed but use it themselves speaks for itself.
