Genuity™ SmartStax™

The first 8 gene insertion that gives maximum protection against insects above and below ground and also resistant to Roundup and Ignite herbicide.

SmartStax™ carries the VT Triple Pro and Herculex Xtra to give three modes of corn borer control along with two unique modes to control corn rootworm.  In addition, SmartStax™ also has control of Earworm, Fall Armyworm, Western Bean Cutworm, and Black Cutworm.

SmartStax™ requires 5% refuge acres.

Genuity™ YieldGard VT Triple PRO™

Roundup Ready 2 herbicide resistance, Corn Rootworm protection and now dual modes of above ground insect protection. In addition to controlling Corn Borer, YieldGard Pro also controls Corn Earworm and Fall Armyworm.

Use of VT Triple Pro requires 20% refuge.

YieldGard VT Triple®

Roundup herbicide resistance, Corn Borer protection and Rootworm protection wrapped in a more consistent, higher yielding package.

Use of VT3 requires 20% refuge.

Roundup Ready® Corn 2

Roundup Ready Corn 2 offers superior in-plant tolerance to Roundup WeatherMAX®, providing the grower with better crop safety and added flexibility to apply the right rate for the right weed with a wider window of application.

YieldGard® Corn Borer

YieldGard Corn Borer (YGCB) hybrids have resistance to Corn Borer by producing a natural insecticide distributed throughout the living tissue of the plant. YGCB hybrids also have less mold and mycotoxin problems, making them a good choice for dairy producers.

Use of YGCB hybrids requires a refuge of 20%.

LibertyLink®

LibertyLink (LL) herbicide resistance gives corn the ability to survive applications of Ignite herbicide. Ignite herbicide kills weeds quickly and safely with broad spectrum control of some of the toughest weeds, such as waterhemp, velvetleaf and ragweed. LibertyLink corn is an excellent choice for rotation with Roundup Ready soybeans, giving two different modes of action to control weeds in your fields.

Agrisure® Viptera 3111

Agrisure Viptera 3111 adds broad lepidopteran insect control which will handle Fall Armyworm, Western Bean Cutworm, Corn Earworm, Sugercane Borer, Stalk Borer and Black Cutworm to the Agrisure 3000GT package.

Use of Agrisure Viptera 3111 still requires 20% refuge acres.

Agrisure® GT

Corn hybrids with Agrisure GT exhibit outstanding tolerance to in-crop applications of glyphosate-based herbicides ­- the active ingredient in Roundup® and Touchdown®  herbicides. Glyphosate controls weeds by inhibiting EPSPS, a key enzyme necessary for photosynthesis.   Agrisure GT causes the corn hybrid to overproduce EPSPS so it can withstand proper applications of glyphosate without damage.

Agrisure® CB/LL/RW

Combines LibertyLink herbicide tolerance with Corn Borer protection and Rootworm control. Agrisure Rootworm is excellent at controlling Northern, Western and Mexican corn rootworms. LibertyLink is a great way to add some herbicide rotation.

Use of Agrisure CB/LL/RW requires 20% refuge.

Agrisure® 3000 GT

Agrisure CBLLRW with the addition of glyphosate tolerance (GT).  Increased flexibility in weed and volunteer corn management with tolerance to glyphosate and glufosinate(Ignite®)herbicides.

Use of Agrisure 300GT requires 20% refuge.

Herculex XTRA

Gives resistance to Corn Borer, Corn Rootworm, Western Bean Cutworm, Black Cutworm, and Fall Armyworm. In addition to Herculex XTRA varieties have tolerance to Ignite® Herbicide (Liberty Link).

Use of Herculex Xtra requires 20% refuge.

Processor Preferred

Corns marked with the Processor Preferred symbol are shown to be highly fermentable in the dry milling process of converting corn to ethanol. Customers providing Processor Preferred corn to participating ethanol plants may qualify for General Motors rebates on E85 fuel vehicles
